Anergy networks - also known as cold local heating networks - are considered a key technology for the climate-neutral energy supply of entire neighbourhoods, settlements or commercial areas. They transport thermal energy at a low temperature level and supply buildings with heating or cooling as required - efficiently, decentralised and future-proof. The underground pipe network required for this can be realised cost-effectively, as the pipes can be largely uninsulated.
With PRISMA® PVT use a powerful source for precisely this form of energy supply: The modules generate electricity and heat at the same time - perfectly suited for feeding into anergy networks or for regenerating geothermal systems.
The use of PRISMA® is particularly effective in combination with seasonal storage like Ice storage tanks or underground heat storage tanks. Heat stored in summer can be utilised again in winter - at the same time, the electricity generated is available all year round for heat pumps or other consumers.
Sustainable energy source for cold local heating networks
PRISMA® PVT feeds electricity and thermal energy into the grid simultaneously - ideal for municipal, commercial and co-operative energy projects.
More efficiency through dual utilisation
While conventional solar thermal energy only supplies heat, PVT modules also generate electricity - for operating heat pumps or for own use.
Scalable & modular in use
Whether as a centralised heat source or decentralised feed-in - PRISMA® PVT can be flexibly adapted to the grid structure and requirements.
Reduced operating costs & high subsidies
By using your own electricity and attractive subsidy programmes, the investment pays for itself more quickly - especially in combination with subsidy programmes such as BEW or BEG.
Efficient all year round thanks to seasonal storage
Excess summer heat can be stored in ice or ground storage tanks and utilised in winter - the resulting cooling also increases the PV yield.

This is how it works:
1. Electricity and heat at the same time generate
The PRISMA® PVT modules supply electrical energy and thermal output - ideal for systems with a low flow temperature.
2. Feed into the anergy grid/direct utilisation
The heat generated is fed into the cold local heating network and / or used for Regeneration of near-surface geothermal plants used.
3. Seasonal storage supplements the system
With underground or ice storage tanks, energy can be temporarily stored seasonally and is thus also reliably available during the heating period.
4. Heat pumps increase the temperature level
The stored heat is utilised by heat pumps in winter - the electricity for this comes directly from the PVT modules.
Promotion and economic efficiency
The combination of Solar power and heat, flexible grid integration and High contribution to CO₂ reduction makes PRISMA® PVT the ideal solution for subsidised heating networks. Particularly relevant are
- Federal subsidy for efficient heating networks (BEW)
- State funding programmes for smart energy grids
- Municipal initiatives in the context of heat planning
Through the Dual utilisation of your space and the relief of geothermal resources, PRISMA® amortises faster than many conventional systems.
