This is how it works:
PRISMA® PVT RBX is a performance-optimised hybrid collector that supplies electricity and heat at the same time - efficiently and in a space-saving manner. The modules consist of high-quality glass-glass Topcon cells with a nominal output of 450 W.
Thanks to the active dissipation of waste heat by the integrated heat exchanger system, the module temperature remains low - this increases electricity production by up to 10 % compared to conventional PV systems.
The waste heat from electricity generation by the wafers and thermal energy from the ambient air are made available to a brine heat pump on the source side. This then generates a usable temperature level for heating and domestic hot water.
